We’ve got a gorgeous photoshoot from Chez Bec featuring their new ‘Rose’ collection that we are pretty sure you’re going to love. We’ve got the girls at Chez Bec to tell us more…
“Here at Chez Bec, we all LOVE ivory dresses – especially when they’re hanging elegantly in our sister company and British Wedding Awards-winning Isabella Grace‘s beautiful Kent boutique. But this year, we’ve noticed that our brides have been asking for something a little bit different: gold – rose gold. And not just that; pinky hues courtesy of some lovely Rose Quartz beads that we have found.
“This meant only one thing: another photoshoot! But this time, trying something a little bit outside our comfort zone. For that we had only one person we wanted, the wonderful Claudine Hartzel, who we now count as a very dear friend.”
“Having long been huge fans of Eliza Jane Howell, they were our first port of call for ‘something different’, and the beautiful dresses they send through in silvers, bronzes and champagnes… well, they were perfect.”
“Sprivers, our shoot’s venue, is a wonderful country estate which has the most stunningly beautiful grounds. Of course, the weather decided to show us what it had, and threw everything at us during the day. We got outside, mind you – but only just! The wonderful thing about a venue like this, is there is always somewhere to find to photograph.
“The Coach House is used for a snooker table at present, but has an amazing wooden wall that we were going to photograph against. Then Harriet saw a rickety old ladder/staircase and up she went, discovering a loft with two old chandeliers. How perfect can you get!”
“The new jewellery collection, Rose by Chez Bec, is simplicity itself. From an elegant backlace, to simple drop earrings inspired by an antique pair of gold earrings that I have, they can be mixed and matched to perfect your own style.
“We have of course, also made a few new hairpieces. The Hannah headband (below) is a bolder take on our usual elegant hairpieces, but we’ve also made some gorgeous pins that look simply stunning clustered together in a group of three.”
“Always happy to try something new, we also worked with Lucy at Wild Coco to create two strong flower crown looks. It has to be said, we had to be physically removed from them at the end of the shoot. They were utterly stunning, perfectly complementing the dresses and the new Rose collection.
“The brief for the bouquets was ‘wild’ and ‘organic’, and Katherine from Florist in the Forest totally nailed the brief. We hung the bouquets from the trees when shooting in the arch outside, and they fluttered perfectly in the breeze.”
And we think you’ll agree when we say how fabulous the models look, with hair done by Liz Bower at Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair, and make-up done by Ellie at The Beauty Aisle. Perfect wedding hair and beauty inspo, without a doubt! You can have a proper look at what went on at the shoot in the video by Cut Above Productions below…
