We are Christopher and Jessica, two wedding photographers who live in Bristol with our dog Simba. We want you to have the best day of your lives, so we tell the story of your day through a combination of documentary photography with some creative and fun posed shots. We let you be you and consequently, you are left with honest, emotive and simply beautiful photos that are a true record of your day.
So, you are trying to find the (W)right wedding photographer for you. Eek! As an engaged couple ourselves, WE GET IT – there are so many photographers out there. Where do you start?
There are many different styles of shooting, different levels of expertise, different offers and ways of working; so many ways you could go. You’re spending a lot of hard earned dosh on the biggest day of your life, you want to be sure the wedding photographer you choose will enhance that experience for you and that you will love the finished result. Because after all, when the honeymoon is done and the dress is packed away, the photos are all that remain of your special day.
Photography is art and art is subjective so have a gander through some of our photos. If you like our style, read on! You can be sure that we will listen to your specific needs and make you feel relaxed on the big day. We are unobtrusive when we need to be and will capture those special moments that you may have missed, but that you will treasure forever.
Being a naturally chatty, friendly pair, we love to fully immerse ourselves within the wedding party. We often get feedback from our clients and their guests that we felt more like friends that they had known for years rather than nosey strangers shoving a great big camera in their face!
We have found this is the best way to create really natural, beautiful shots of even the most camera shy. After all, we are there during some of the happiest and most emotional moments of your life so it’s important you feel comfortable being your lovely selves. We want the photos you treasure to be ones that truly encapsulate all the spirit, soul and uniqueness that is your day – just the way it is.
Having said that, we work HARD. We simply love our job and we mean REALLY love our job. We are truly passionate about giving you the best possible photos, experience and memories. We are there for you from when you are getting ready until the party starts winding down and we simply do not stop! Chasing a horse and carriage through a city, splitting our trousers climbing a tree, lying in a nice juicy cow pat and running up and down a hill are a few examples of the ridiculous lengths we go to, but BOY are those shots worth it!
We really are led by you. If you want us to blend in like photo ninjas and document the day, done. If you want every group shot from you and Aunt Gladys to you re-living the glory days with your uni friends, no problem. If you want to escape your guests for an hour to take some romantic, creative and fun shots as a newlywed couple, great! This is often the bride and groom’s favourite part of the day, as they actually get to spend some time together!
