Are you thinking about losing weight for your wedding day? Have you considered a weight-loss boot camp?
Our lovely real bride Sulekha Appaiah is doing just that. Follow her story below and keep checking the website to follow her progress over the next few weeks.
I have always been a typical yoyo dieter. My lack of will power has been frustrating and this cycle has continued for the past 5 years. I have been a confident size 12 in the past and I have gone up to my current size of a snug size 14, which for my 5ft 7 height isn’t too worrying.. However I feel I have been using any excuse to turn to food and I felt unhealthy and sluggish.
I have always loved working out. It makes me feel great, my skin glows and I have a clearer head to think with! I really enjoy going to the gym, doing spinning classes and body pump, basically anything active where I can get a sweat on! I started sessions with a personal trainer in May 2012. My body shape has changed slightly however I need more ideas on how to do things for myself at the gym which will make this body change continue to happen.
I have found that following the principles of the Dukan Diet works for me as the high protein, no sugar rule has really helped to clear up my skin which is prone to excema. I would like to lose 1 and a half stone before my wedding in December where I will be wearing an assortment of Indian outfits and various sarees which show off your body shape. My problem area has to be my stomach and I would love some ideas on how to sort this out.
I have always been intrigued by a weight-loss boot camp and their reviews I have read about in magazines. It seems the results have proved very successful and I would like to have the same experience as I know I will work hard and continue to follow the advice and steps suggested by the trainers and nutritionists at the Reboot camp.
I would love to be a size 12 by December this year. My target weight is 10.7lb stone I am currently 12 stone.
