If you’re wondering what on earth a wedding yurt is, you’ve come to the right place! Read on to find out more about this gorgeous addition to any big day…
Here at Wedding Ideas we love quirky wedding venues, and the beautiful hand-made yurts from Wedding Yurts UK are no exception! Their tents are perfectly designed to create a beautiful and romantic space that can be erected almost anywhere – perfect for hosting intimate wedding celebrations.
I’d now like to hand over to owner Lizzie to tell you more about their fabulous photoshoot, to celebrate the launch of their new all-inclusive package.
“We celebrated the launch of our new all-inclusive Wedding Yurt Package with an old English country tea party in the gardens of The Old Farmhouse. The event took place over the May bank holiday. The sun actually shone, we sipped pink bubbly whilst enjoying the gorgeous view, ate delicious home-baked, straight out-of-the-oven scones with fresh cream and home-made raspberry jam. We relaxed in the yurts, under the trees in the orchard and on picnic blankets dotted around the beautiful gardens. A blissful day in the Cotswolds countryside was enjoyed by all.
To style our new campaign shoot, Clare (our stylist) used the tea cup as a central theme, hanging them in the trees and at night they held candles and lit a woodland path. They were used on the table planner and even sat on top of the cake. Exotic blended teas were displayed in vintage jars and the wonderful names of the teas were used as the table names. David Austin roses added perfectly to the Old English feel and were enhanced by using only traditional country garden flowers. Finally, a touch of vintage glamour was created with a lady’s boudoir in a small yurt. With antique mirrors and furniture, vintage books and crystal chandeliers the more chic than shabby theme was complete.
We would love to show you the beautiful pictures from our shoot – so sit back, and happy viewing! We hope you like our unique hand-crafted yurts, if you’re interested in hiring one for your own big day or want further information about the packages we offer please drop me a line.” Lizzie.
