Set up to recognise and applaud exceptional talent in the wedding industry, The Bridal Buyer Awards 2013 took place at the Harrogate International Centre on Monday night – and Wedding Ideas were there to catch all the action!
The awards, voted for by professionals within the wedding industry, recognise exceptional products and customer service and with over 1,000 entries to sift through, the judging teams – which included Wedding Ideas – had a pretty tough job!
Real brides’ favourites Mori Lee, Rainbow Club and Benjamin Roberts were among the winners. Plus designer Amanda Wyatt scooped the gong for Dress of the Year for her style ‘Felicia’ which featured on the Wedding Ideas cover back in June!
“I can’t describe how absolutely thrilled I was when they announced ‘Felica’ as the winner of wedding dress of the year,” says Amanda. “The team said my face was a picture of pure shock and of course delight at being chosen by the brides for the award. ‘Felicia’ is a truly beautiful gown and it’s a pleasure to know that the brides love her just as much as I do!”
Special congratulations also go to British Bridal Designer of the Year Sassi Holford, who also won the Wedding Ideas Award for Best Designer back in January.
