Pioneers of the all-inclusive honeymoon concept, Couples Resorts launched the first year-round hotel in Jamaica in 1949. Since then they’ve helped thousands of newlyweds have the holiday of their dreams. Let’s find out more about their gorgeous hotels and how they are involved with the Wedding Ideas Awards 2014…
Who are you?
I’m Jane Bolton, Sales and Marketing Manager. I love working at Couples because we believe in going that extra mile for our customers and exceeding their expectations. The whole Couples philosophy translates into pure romance from the moment you arrive at one of our gorgeous resorts. We own Couples Tower Isle, Couples Sans Souci, Couples Negril and Couples Swept Away in Jamaica. Each one has its own magic, amazing facilities, incredible food and of course a stunning beach-front location.
Which category are you sponsoring?
Couples Resorts are sponsoring Best Bridesmaid Collection category at this year’s awards. We see so many gorgeous weddings at our resorts and our in-house planners keep up to date with the latest fashion and decoration trends so that we can help the bride plan the day of her dreams.
What’s great about the Wedding Ideas Awards?
They recognise great service and products in the industry. We also enjoy working with the friendly team at Wedding Ideas and they help us to get a great ROI – the best of any publication we work with.
What are Couples planning for 2014?
Even more amazing offers for our couples, including free nights and fantastic room upgrades. You can find out all about our very latest offers on our website.
What are your top three wedding planning tips?
Think about food
Here at Couples we can advise you on the best food for your beach celebration. Why not ditch the traditional hot meal (you’re on the beach, after all) and have a BBQ grill and Caribbean specialities instead?
We have some amazing cocktails here at Couples Resorts in Jamaica – how about Couples Kiss or Exotic Cooler? Or why not make up your own signature cocktail to celebrate your nuptials?
Ditch your shoes
Ceremonies in the sand mean you can ditch the traditional wedding shoes. Flip flops or pretty foot jewellery will look amazing . You can always switch back to a more traditional pair of bridal heels in the evening.
