I first got to know Helen and her lovely husband Aaron back in early 2011 when Helen emailed me enquiring about having her real wedding featured in Wedding Ideas.

I took one look at her pretty photos and knew straight away they’d make a perfect feature. The couple’s smiley faces and the bright sunny day were exactly what we were looking for. However, it wasn’t just us that saw the potential, our lovely readers fell head-over-heels for Helen and Aaron and they’re still one of our most loved and talked about real-wedding couples to date. (See their wedding in issue 92)

Not only were Helen and Aaron’s wedding photos the perfect inspiration for you lovely readers, their tips, advice, and ideas proved invaluable for you all planning your weddings. Not just this, but Helen was a pleasure to work with and I’m pleased to say we became good friends through our regular email and phone chit-chats.

A few months down the line, the team here at WI HQ were planning some BIG ideas to celebrate our 100th issue and during one meeting, I was asked to suggest some of my favey real weddings and of course, Helen had to be up there.

And so, Helen went from real-wedding star to COVER MODEL! Yes that’s right – Helen was so gorgeous inside and out that we featured her as a model on our 100th magazine. (See the full feature in issue 100)

Helen has been such a big supporter of our magazine, that I wanted to say thanks in return and big up her wonderful photography business. (Not only is Helen a dream in front of the camera, she’s a pro behind the lens!) and can make you a star for your own beautiful big days. Not just that, she’s also a fully qualified wedding and occasion make-up artist, so she really will help you to shine. (Can this girl get any cooler? We think not!)

So there you have it real wedding star, cover model, pro-wedding photographer, and most recently new Mummy to baby Emilie, Helen Strong has got it all going on.

Congratulations Helen and Aaron, we wish you both lots of love and luck for the future.
