This gorgeous couple decided on a vintage wedding theme, and accessorised with elegant birdcage touches and a pastel colour scheme. So gorgeous!
Vikki was working in Halfords and realised Nathan was coming in quite frequently – she later found out it was just to talk to her, which she thought was incredibly cute! After spending so many lovely dates together, Nathan popped the question on Vikki’s birthday, which they were celebrating in London. It was in the pouring rain and just outside Buckingham Palace that he pulled out a ring box to a very surprised Vikki.
The bride bought her beautiful ‘Buttercup’ dress from Serenity Brides, which was designed by Ellis Bridal. The tea- length dress had lace detailing all over and full-length lace sleeves, Vikki instantly knew it was ‘the one’ for her! She accessorised with pretty shoes from Harriet Wilde.
She had five maids including Maggie, her fab maid of honour, who all wore pretty gowns designed by Kelsey Rose, also bought from Serenity Brides.
Pastel pom poms, wicker hearts, bunting, jam jars and photo frames created the vintage feel this couple were after. Their flowers were created by Jades Flower Design and the birdcage cake masterpiece was by Rachelle’s. Sticking with the birdcage theme their favours were heart shaped Lindt chocolates in cardboard birdcages. The romantic first dance was to The Only Reason by JP Cooper, which they fell in love with as not a lot of people knew it, making it more personal to them.
