Choosing your bridesmaid dresses can be a tricky task – how do you get the right style for all those different shapes? Luckily, Wedding Show TV has caught up with India Sellars from Maids to Measure to bring you some expert advice…
Wondering how to choose the best cut, shape, fabric and style to suit your bridal party? This handy video from India at Maids to Measure will reveal all! With most real brides choosing three to four attendants on average for their big day, it’s unlikely that they’re all going to have the same hair colour. So what shades suit everyone?
What about choosing different designs for different shapes? “These days, bridesmaids don’t all have to be in the same style style – you can have one more fitted, one more floaty… Perhaps some girls prefer shorter styles, too.”
So what colours are hot for 2014? “Navy is a great classic colour,” says India. “It’s really neutral, it’s not black but it’s flattering, so it’s great for all shapes and sizes. It also works with lots of different coloured flowers and accessories. Navy is a great first-stop colour that I always recommend.”
Offering an insight of everything The National Wedding Show has to offer, Wedding Show TV provides all the information you need to organise your big day, with information on everything from the dress to your mother-of-the-bride outfit to accessories, flowers and more.
