This new wedding headpiece and jewellery range, The Moondance Collection, from Rosie Willett Designs is set to be a hit with all 2015 brides – it’s full of wedding accessories that will complement all sorts of dress styles, from vintage to the most current of looks.
Rosie says: “The new range includes a total of nine headpieces – a collection of delicate vines, combs and headbands made with sparkling Swarovski crysal that catches the light with movement, like a twinkling star or a soft scattering of glitter. With pieces in this collection ranging from £72 to £226, I’m aiming to offer something affordable for all brides-to-be.”
“We always look at emerging trends in bridalwear to influence our collections. Crystal embellished wedding dresses are very popular this season and we have created a collection of headpieces and jewellery that will complement both embellished gowns and also add some sparkle to plainer dress styles. The delicate nature of our designs is also perfect for pretty lace dresses and illusion necklines.”
Reflecting on her ideas for the new Moondance Collection, Rosie says: “We have been collecting inspiration for this collection since the beginning of 2014, with design work commencing in the summer. After intense planning, our photo shoot took place on a sunny day in October, with beautiful sunlight streaming through the windows which created a magical effect against a set of mirror balls.”
Rosie makes each piece individually by hand using the finest materials. Swarovski crystal diamanté is mixed with clear crystal bead work to create a range of pieces that sparkle delicately and catch the light with movement, like a twinkling star – perfect to make any bride truly shine on the wedding day. Intricate crystal clusters and daisy shapes are placed alongside Swarovski pear, oval and square shaped stones on flexible wired vines, combs and headbands.
Many of the headpieces are versatile and can be worn across the forehead in a bohemian style or further back in the hair for a more classic look. Combs can be worn at the side or across the back of the hair, which is an increasingly popular choice to complement dresses with detailed backs.
Her previous bespoke headpieces include the Georgia wedding hair vine, created for the new Mrs Georgia Jones, for her wedding to Danny Jones from McFly!
