As the UK’s biggest wedding show prepares to return to London Olympia (25-27th September), NEC Birmingham (2-4th October) and Manchester Central (24-25th October), The National Wedding Show‘s experts reveal some of the top trends to look out for this autumn.
Kat Byrne, Style Editor of Closer magazine will host and present the Top 10 Tips at the Wedding Theatre, where the show’s Glam Squad will share the hottest bridal beauty and style trends of the season.
Hair
Cinta Miller, Artistic Director for Fudge Urban, will return to the Wedding Theatre to share her latest top hair tips. According to Cinta, 2016 will see a relaxed approach to bridal hair styles, with softer, looser and more romantic looks emerging.
Explaining how to get the look, Cinta reveals: “Beach waves are key, as are raw finishes to an updo for a more pre-raphaelite look.
“Added texture is big news and products and styling tools are the key items needed to create a style and texture that will last all day.”
Cinta recommends babyliss pro styling tools and fudge big hair range to create these looks. Have a look at Cinta’s exclusive tutorial video on ‘Blossom Brides’ from #TNWS Series below…
Make-up
The bareMinerals team of expertly trained beauty ambassadors will also return to the Wedding Theatre to reveal their top make-up tips of the season.
To achieve a flawless look that lasts all day, International Make-up Artist for bareMinerals, SJ Froom explains the important of protecting your make-up.
Revealing how to make sure mascara stays put all day, SJ Froom says: “Weddings can be emotional so remember to not only use waterproof mascara on the bride, but also on the bridesmaids and mother of the bride!
“If you have a favourite non-waterproof mascara then you can always apply the bareMinerals Locked & Coated Waterproof Lash Topcoat (£12) over the top for an invisible topcoat that makes mascara long-lasting and waterproof.”
Fashion
Fashion Stylist Claire Ginzler will take centre stage at the Wedding Theatre to present the top 10 dresses for brides and bridesmaids.
Speaking of the top trends to look out for this season, Claire says: “The 60s vibe is back, so hemlines are on the rise for 2016. Top trends include 3D effect floral laser cut applique or feather embellishment for a modern statement.
“Plunging necklines and thigh high slits are still a key look. For an alternative to a traditional dress look out for trouser suits, whether the elegant tux jacket teamed with a slim leg pant or a wider leg for a Boho style wedding.”
