When writing your wedding invitations, don’t forget to include the basic information which includes your names, wedding date, wedding venue, time and RSVP date. ALWAYS put an RSVP date, or else you’ll get into all sorts of bother when it comes to giving your wedding venue final numbers for the wedding breakfast.

You can also include the hosts’ names, RSVP address/email, your reception venue (if different to your ceremony venue), dress code, carriages, information regarding children, directions, local accommodation, menu choices and gift list details.

Remember, you should be aiming to send your invitations out three to four months before your wedding, or six to eight weeks before if you have sent save the date cards.
