Bridalwear designer Elizabeth Stuart showcases her newest collection for 2014 – and it’s a beauty!

Elizabeth Stuart is known for her modern take on romantic fairytale designs, and her first independent runway show was the perfect opportunity to showcase her glamorous new collection for 2014. We loved her intricate, fashion-forward designs, which were inspired by the splendour of the changing seasons, and the styling by Penny Cullen of Love Scarlett was just gorgeous. “We are so proud to have shown our new collection alongside Cancer Research UK, whilst highlighting our pretty wedding favour pins and life-saving work that the charity does,” says the team at Elizabeth Stuart.
This modern, elegant collection featured feminine detailing and luxurious fabrics. Elizabeth Stuart uses exquisite silk organza and tulle fabrics to create soft silhouettes, with stunning scalloped lace highlighting the beautiful shapes of the gowns. We think that the delicate laser cut flowers would be perfect for spring brides, and the delicate nudes and blush silks will complement English rose skintones.
If you’re looking for a true showstopper of a wedding gown, this collection showcases some gorgeous fashion-forward detailing and silhouettes. There are some elegant high-necked designs with jewelled choker detailing, surprisingly flattering cropped tops and fashionable peplums to highlight your curves. More traditional brides will love the sophisticated boat-neck gowns with full ballerina skirts and longer sleeves, or the strapless pleated gowns with beaded sash.
