Punters at a Hollywood memorabilia auction bid on a slice of royal history from the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Over the weekend, Hollywood auction goers bid on slices of wedding cake from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding. It’s said that each slice fetched up to £865 – the same price as slices of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s royal wedding cake in 1981.
The star attraction of the auction was a blue and white gingham pinafore, worn by Julie Garland in the Wizard of Oz, which was bought for £302,000 by an anonymous bidder.
