How they Met

“Our friend, Yasmine, introduced us during the Formula One Grand Prix in Montreal,” says Pascale. “After that, she had to be my bridesmaid!”

The proposal

“Kevin proposed in the middle of the turquoise Caribbean Ocean,” remembers Pascale. “He took me diving for seashells and underwater, I noticed a little treasure chest. Back on the boat, I opened it to find a beautiful ring and Kevin down on one knee!” she says of the proposal for her real wedding abroad.

The bride’s outfit

Pascale took her mum and twin sisters to Miami in search of the perfect dress – the sunshine state didn’t disappoint! “Putting on my gorgeous dress from Saison Blanche Boutique made us all cry!” says Pascale. Choosing a simple strapless gown, with swarovski crystal detailing, perfectly complented the couple’s relaxed beach – themed day

The groom’s outfit

Kevin bought his modern tuxedo from Tiger of Sweden and next to his bride, all in white, the pair cut a very suave and dashing figure!

The bridesmaids

“My favourite twin sisters in the world and my oldest friends were my bridesmaids,” says Pascale. In their black cocktail dresses, the four girls made a dramatic contrast with the bright and vibrant flower arrangements. “I wanted a black and white affair so I told them to pick their favourite LBDs for a glamorous look – they were knockouts!” she adds

“Rustic Caribbean décor, mixed with typical italian flair, was a winning reception combination”

The flowers

“Celebrations, the island’s premier wedding and event company Celebrations Ltd, designed our beautiful flower displays,” explains Pascale. For a beautiful burst of colour and a touch of the tropics, the couple chose mango coloured Calla lillies, yellow freesias and green Cymbidium orchids – perfect for any real wedding abroad.

The ceremony

With the white, sandy beach underfoot and the sound of the sea close by, Pascale and Kevin took their vows at the water’s front, arranged by The Caribbean Club. “We hired the island’s only harpist to perform during the ceremony, which was magical,” remembers Pascale

“for the children’s meals, sausages and mash with ice cream made us huge hits”

The reception

Pascale and Kevin chose an oval top table, with their guests seated at square tables. For centrepieces, striking candle arrangements, edged with Silverstone roses, cast a romantic, candlelit glow during the wedding breakfast. Combining lavender table linen, ivory chair covers and square plates gave the overall look a contemporary and elegant finish

The Venue

“We celebrated at our ultimate, favourite Italian restaurant, Ristorante Pappagallo,” says Pascale. “The food was sensational: a mixture of delectable Caribbean cuisine and Italian treats.” Yellow and orange orchids, in large glass bowls and decorated with sea rocks, reminded guests of the exotic, beach feel. “There was a full moon the night we married and watching the waves crashing on the shore by this magical light was very romantic!” says Pascale

The Honeymoon

“We picked a destination we have never visited before: Argentina!” says Pascale. The couple stayed in Buenos Aires’ stunning boutique hotel, The Moreno, and enjoyed a whole month off!
