Central Park is the setting for many couple’s wedding photographs, but Mill Crest Vintage and Foley Photography wanted to create something different.
Paula Cooperman from Mill Crest Vintage thought of the idea as a way to offer her former clients a day of pampering to celebrate their first anniversary.
She approached Scott and Amedea of Foley Photography to deliver the shoot after being wowed by their quirky British vintage style.
And so began months of cross-Atlantic creative vision and planning.
On the day, the brilliant team of stylists transformed Tiffaney Springer-Williams and her husband, Ben Williams into a gorgeous vintage wedding couple.
The bride, dressed in an authentic 1960’s silk wedding gown and her groom in a co-ordinating suit and tie, enjoyed afternoon tea and cake in Central Park.
“In the year of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee there has been a rise of vintage styling in the UK.” Says Scott of Foley Photography.
“We wanted to bring a sense of Englishness to New York’s iconic Central Park. Sunshine, afternoon tea, romance with effortless style and grace.”
