The beautiful finishing touches be customised for no extra cost to include a band which matches your hair colour, instead of the customary metal bands found on most headpieces.

“I found that there were many brides coming to our studio in London who didn’t like the metal band on the headpiece,” says Olivier. “Particularly if they had fine hair, as it would seem too prominent and be difficult to hide the band. We are really excited about being able to offer bands which match an individual bride’s hair colour.”

Headpieces in the Made in Britain collection are available in blond, brown and black as well as the regular silver and gold. All pieces are made to order and can take up to two weeks to complete, with prices ranging between £95 and £210.

  1. I wore a side headband made by Ali McGall Alifayejewellery. It had similar style to the cluster of gems at the front of my dress. My hair is short and has pink streaks in it so it kept my look funky and young. Also we werent in a church so i decided against a veil.

  2. I’m wearing a two tier elbow length veil – my ‘something borrowed’ Jewellery is quite minimal but hoping to treat myself to something vintage looking from Glitzy Secrets very soon! I’m also planning to tie my late great-grandmothers sixpence medallion to my bouquet x

  3. My veil is from UK Wedding Veils, I found them online and they are wonderful. Having a gold dress I was concerned about getting a veil to match but UK Wedding Veils allow you to “build your own” so you can get one unique to you, in colour, style length, embroidery and embellishments. The turn around time was quick also.
