On 30th July, the National Wedding Show hosted its very own press reception at the prestigious Lansdowne Club in Mayfair, providing an exclusive preview of what’s in store at the UK’s biggest wedding show this autumn, so of course we sent along our lovely Brand Director Pippa to check it out!
Bridal press and bloggers immersed themselves in everything the show has to offer, in the beautiful and intimate setting of the Ballroom.
The latest bridal trends were presented by a selection of National Wedding Show exhibitors, including glamorous gowns from Ivory & Co, Katya Katya Shehurina, Qiana Bridal and Hazaar of London, exquisite accessories from Donna Crain, KC’s Brooch Bouquets, Aurus Diamonds, Juliette Botteril and By Harriet and fabulous footwear from Paradox.
Groomswear collections by Moss were available to view, encompassing ready-to-wear, bespoke and hire collections for AW13, together with the latest elegant mother of the bride collections by Nigel Rayment.
The team from Carousel Lights were also on hand to give the crowds a sneak peek of their latest light creations – dazzling details that are set to be a huge decor hit for weddings in 2014!
Official show sponsor bareMinerals were on hand offering complimentary make-unders, with bridal beauty tips and advice provided by International Make-up Arist Sarah-Jane Froom.
Popular wedding themes were showcased by some of the nation’s finest florists; Wildabout, Floral Symphonies, Todich Floral, Muscari Whites and Lavenders of London, whose creations were complemented by stationery from Here Comes the Bride, Angels Creations and With Love and chair covers from Designer Chair Covers.
Guests were also serenaded by the charming Singing Waiters, while indulging in canapés and bubbly from the Lansdowne’s very own Chef followed by mouth-watering sweet treats from The Bakery Lounge, Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium and Ganache Macaron.
At the entrance to the Lansdowne Club on Fitzmaurice Place, Weddings by Driven showcased 100 years of Rolls Royce with three iconic models; a vintage Rolls Royce Hooper from 1935, a classic Rolls Royce Cloud from 1963 and a modern Rolls Royce Phantom.
See for yourself!
You can see all these exhibitors together with over 300 wedding experts at the National Wedding Show this autumn on 27th to 29th September at London’s Earls Court and 4th to 6th October at Brimingham’s NEC arena.
