If you have children already, one of the biggest nightmares with a honeymoon abroad is to arrange childcare. With a mini moon, you can take them along with you – in fact, it can make your trip even more memorable! Warren Farm in Cheddar is the ultimate place to spend a glamping weekend in their super-stylish yurts. There’s plenty to see and do with animals, amazing walks and Cheddar gorge on your doorstep.

This mini moon hotspot has it all, starting with a variety of accommodation. We love Ston Easton’s Gardener’s Cottage for a cosy stay, or you can enjoy the beautiful rooms in the main mansion. With croquet on the lawns, golf, billiards and more available to keep you entertained, plus daily afternoon English tea, it’s a civilised place to enjoy your first break as husband and wife.

The White Tower, Scotland

The White Tower of Tayworth Castle in Scotland is a picturesque spot in which to mini moon. This highland haven has lots to do inside and out with amazing en-suite rooms, hot tubs on the roof and shops and bars nearby.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all, then you need to check out the Hotel Grosvenor in Shaftesbury. Tranquility doesn’t begin to explain the peaceful atmosphere here. The ideal spot to sit back, unwind and get away from it all.

Totworth Court, Gloucestershire

For a really posh weekend away, try Totworth Court in Gloucestershire with its rich, royal history dating back to the 13th century. Forget Westminster Abbey, the Westminster Suite is fit for a newlywed King and Queen, with fourposter beds and large windows overlooking the vast grounds.
