To do

Although the island is small there are a huge variety of activities to try out – if you can tear yourself away from your cushioned sun lounger. Snorkel or scuba dive in the crystal clear waters and you will find a world rich in marine life where brightly coloured fish swim around the pretty coral reef and Eagle rays glide across the sandy seabed. You might even be lucky enough to glimpse a turtle or two! If swimming isn’t for you but you would love to see the breath-taking underwater garden that surrounds the island, you can take out a glass bottom kayak. Built for two, you and your new husband or wife can enjoy the seabed from the comfort of your kayak. If you’re after something really adventurous there are many other water sports to sample, including paddle boarding, windsurfing, jet-skiing, waterskiing and fun tube rides. All of the equipment you need can be hired from the water sports and dive centre, where you can also book all of your excursions. A romantic trip on a sunset cruise to watch the sun sink behind the island is not to be missed while you’re at Amari Havodda.
