Top UK bridal designer Madeline Isaac-James has joined forces with the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation to raise money for terminally ill brides. The designer, Natalie Gladman, has named one of her 2014 gowns ‘Naomi’ after the charity’s inspiring founder and the design will be available from selected Madeline Isaac-James stockists from September this year.
Naomi won the prestigious Wedding Ideas Bride of the Year award in January which highlighted the charity to the wider wedding industry. “We are delighted to be involved with helping raise funds for the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation,” says Natalie. “In addition to the launch of the beautiful ‘Naomi’ gown in May, we have pledged to donate our ex-sample and discontinued line dresses to the charity and we would encourage other designers to do the same.”
The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation was founded by Naomi Thomas in 2012, with the sole aim of helping people with terminal illnesses have the wedding of their dreams. After an incredible first year, where Naomi picked up two national magazine accolades – the Wedding Ideas Bride of the Year Award and Real People Magazine’s Community Champions’ Most Caring Person Award – Naomi and the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation grow from strength to strength with the ever-increasing help from the wedding industry.
