The simply stunning Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed the secret behind her supermodel figure – the Devon-born beauty, and girlfriend to actor Jason Statham is a huge fan of healthy juice diets. She admits the key to her flawless skin, shiny hair and flat stomach is a super-food cleanse.
“It’s so simple to get into shape, I have more energy and glowing skin by eating the right food,” she explains. “Health reflects in your skin, body and hair and gives you a natural glow.”
Juice cleanses are proving very popular among the rich and famous. Alongside Rosie, other celebrity fans include soap actress Michelle Keegan, Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh and bride-to-be Jennifer Aniston.
The glamorous catwalk star also admits she’s very disciplined when it comes to looking good. “I wear a lot of make-up for work so I really take care of my skin,” confesses Rosie. “The full works – cleansing, toning and then moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!” Who’d have thought it was that simple?!
Rosie’s top health and beauty tips
1. Start a juice diet
Rosie is a long time fan of the Green Juice Detox Diet plan. This includes all fruits and vegetables not just foods that are green in colour. She blends together celery, kale, carrot, beetroot, spinach, radish, cucumber, ginger and parsley.
2. Souper soups
It’s not just fruit juices that will give you a healthy glow, organic homemade soup is also a winner. Talking about her favourite soup recipe Rosie says: “Just cook and then blend together split peas, carrots, celery, garlic, onions, cumin and coconut oil.”
3. Stay hydrated
Rosie drinks eight glasses of water every day saying she believes it’s ‘nature’s medicine’. The picture-perfect model admits: “Staying hydrated gives me healthy skin and also reduces any hunger pangs.”
4. Get active
It isn’t just a healthy diet that gives the model her sparkling, fresh-faced glow – she also works out to stay in shape. She admits she’s also fanatic about yoga, which is the perfect stress buster for brides-to-be who want to escape wedding planning while also toning up!
5. Have a snack
Here’s some good news! Celebrity trainer James says that the occasional snack is good for you, adding: “Rosie makes a mean guacamole, which is a filling and nutrient-dense snack. About half an avocado a day is the perfect way to include fat-fighting food in your diet.”
6. Beauty buster
While on your Juice Diet, relax in the evening with a purifying clay mask to give your skin a healthy glow. Face masks are known to absorb harmful toxins and excess oils. They’re high in minerals so will stimulate blood circulation and exfoliate at the same time.
7. Body brushing
Finish your Juice Diet with a body brush to re-energise, make you look thinner and banish blemishes. Most spas offer body brushing treatments, or you can buy a soft bristled brush and get to work.
