Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston has apparently chosen British designer Vivienne Westwood to create her wedding gown.
According to sources at Star magazine, the actress, who has been engaged to actor Justin Theroux since August last year, has been having secret wedding dress fittings in preparation for her wedding day, which is now thought to be set for some time in the autumn.
The news follows months of speculation about when the glamorous pair will finally tie the knot – we know that finding the dream dress takes a while, Jen, but come on!
“Jennifer has chosen British designer Vivienne Westwood to create her gown,” a source told the magazine. “She’s a big fan of her romantic, figure-flattering styles and recently wore a blue, corseted Westwood dress at the Toronto Film Festival.”
And as you would expect, her chosen wedding dress will be extremely flattering on any problem areas. “Her off-white wedding gown also features a corset bodice, which highlights Jen’s figure while flattening that bit of ‘tummy bulge’ she recently admitted to, when she denied rumours she was expecting a baby,” the source added.
Choosing a UK designer rather than a US name also appears to be a nod to her fiancé’s British family connections. We think Jen would look fabulous in a full-skirted, statement design like Carrie’s Vivienne Westwood gown in the first Sex and the City movie!
Rumours are rife that the couple will tie the knot at their extensive Bel Air home in a romantic sunset ceremony. We’ll just have to wait and see. Are you still looking for your perfect gown? Check out our latest competitions, where you can win a designer dress!
