We are excited and delighted to launch the stunning international collection DaisyDaisy. As the founding editor of Wedding Ideas, I have seen many many beautiful dresses over the past 12 years. I have followed many designers as they grow and flourish, producing collection after collection of brilliance.
But one of them I followed across the other side of the world… From Yorkshire based dress designer and former owner of No9 Bridal Couture, Linda Davey emigrated with her lovely young family – and the beloved family dog – to Perth in Western Australia where she has been designing bespoke gowns for beautiful Aussie brides, as well as a few clients in the UK.
Now, I am delighted to say, she has teamed up with top Australian jewellery designer Tamara Harrison to launch the very first collection from DaisyDaisy.
Over to Linda: “We aim to position the DaisyDaisy brand high above the China and offshore market. Like many dress designers and bona fide manufacturers across the globe, we face a continual fight against counterfeit dresses and cheap imports. But as we all know, good ain’t cheap and cheap ain’t good!”
“We have a pricing model of an accessible range, using quality synthetics to a luxury end – our Hollywood range – using brilliant silks. We also have a couture range for clients who prefer to modify a store piece or indeed have a totally bespoke gown.”
DaisyDaisy is available to UK brides in any size and can also create tailoring for grooms and beautiful bridesmaid dresses to order. A full range of accessories to match have been created by Tamara Harrison.
