After painstakingly counting all the votes, Hero’s Wedding are pleased to announce that the winning couple is… Leanne Spencer and Ross Allen!
“I have spent the last couple of days talking to Leanne and helping her, they are both exceptionally excited, and eternally grateful to us all for making their dreams come true,” says Haley Oats from Haley Ruth Photography, one of the organisers of the competition.
“Ross is currently in Afghanistan and won’t be back until April. He’s in an area with very limited communications to home, however someone in Camp Bastion saw on Facebook that he had won and they managed to get a message to him. His boss arranged for him to have a call home so he could speak to Leanne for a few minutes.”
The couple have announced that they will be getting married on 13th June 2013. Their brilliant big day – a breathtaking prize worth over £16,000 – will be featured in a future issue of Wedding Ideas so don’t miss it!
