All the single ladies, put your hands up! Pioneering online dating website, MySingleFriend, has unveiled plans to spread the love this wedding season, with their new innovative MySingleTable service.
A recent poll conducted by MySingleFriend found that over 80% of singles believe weddings are good fun, and a great opportunity to meet new people. And to avoid any awkward ‘who else is going’ conversations 83% of single men and 69% of single women would like the bride and groom to let them know about other single people attending their wedding.
“Weddings are fantastic opportunities to match make our fabulous single friends! It’s time to get our great British brides and grooms involved,” says MySingleFriend founder and television star Sarah Beeny. “Their single friends have been there for them providing support as wingmen in their relationships, so it’s time to spread the love! MySingleTable is such a fun way to mix it up and help their friends meet new people, find a date, and make it an event to remember!’
One couple who met on MySingleFriend.com last year, Nick and Sarah from London, are planning to use MySingleTable for their wedding next year!
“If our friends hadn’t encouraged us to go on MySingleFriend I wouldn’t be marrying the woman of my dreams!” says Nick. “We are big fans of MySingleFriend and the idea of match making our single friends at our wedding is really exciting! What a great way for our friends to share in our special day and brilliant for them to check out who’s coming, and have a chance at finding a date!’
We asked the real brides on the Wedding Ideas Forum about what they thought of their single friends hooking up at their wedding. While everyone was happy for single friends to hook up during the celebrations, a few of them would have issues if they started making a scene on the dance floor! Why not join in the chat now?
