The UK Academy of Wedding and Event Planning (UKAWEP) have teamed up with Wedding Ideas to launch a competition to find the bride with the X factor in event design.
Do you have what it takes to dream up the design for the Wedding Ideas Awards ceremony in 2015? If the answer is yes, here is your challenge!
Using the 3 colours of the Wedding Ideas Magazine Awards logo – pink, black and white – you are tasked with designing an inspiration board that will serve as the concept for the design of the awards in January 2015. Creativity is the key to this challenge. Have you been inspired as a bride-to-be? Do you have what it takes to be the next sought after wedding designer? Are you a closet stylist looking to make that career change? Well here is your chance to impress.
Judging the competition will be Pippa Ward, Brand Director for Wedding Ideas. Your prize will include the chance to take the Diploma in Wedding Planning, Styling and Design all expenses paid and a 6-month subscription to Wedding Ideas.
What you need to do
- Design your board
- In 25 words or less tell us about your concept
- Post both of the above to Facebook and remember to tag both the Wedding Ideas and UKAWEP Facebook pages
- If you use Twitter you can also post your board there, but again remember to tag @ukawep and @WIMagAwards & use the hashtage #DesignXFactor
You have until 5pm on Wednesday 11th of December to get your entries in and the winner will be announced on Monday 16th of December – good luck!
