Bottle arrangement centrepiece
We spray-painted a selection of glass bottles and a plate with Rust-Oleum Metallic sprays and dressed with flowers and candles to produce rustic centrepieces.
What you will need:
- Rust-Oleum Metallic in Bright Gold
- Rust-Oleum Metallic in Gold
- Rust-Oleum Metallic in Copper
- A selection of glass bottles/jars
- A large plate
- Flowers/candles to dress
Top tip: For added detail, cover up sections of the glass bottles using masking tape to create a striped effect!
Instructions:
- Move the object(s) to be painted to a well-ventilated area and place on top of newspaper or a dustsheet. Protect the surrounding area with additional dustsheets or newspaper
- Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean and dry, and mask of any areas you do not wish to be painted
- Using your selected colour, hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the object(s) and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping with each stroke. For best results, whilst spraying ensure the can remains the same distance from the surface and keep the can in motion. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart
- Once dry, arrange the bottles upon the plate and dress with flowers and candles
