Did you know that Wedding Ideas is 10 years old? That’s right… We’ve been helping brides-to-be plan the day of their dreams for over a decade now. We must have given you millions of ideas by now!
To celebrate this amazing milestone, the Wedding Ideas team threw an incredible Red & Black party at the County Cricket Ground in our home town of Taunton in Somerset… With a little help from our friends, of course!
The Wedding Ideas team and our guests were greeted by the gorgeous Butlers in the Buff – standard at a Wedding Ideas party and a brilliant idea for your hen night – and wowed by the brilliant red and black décor by Oasis Events. They completely transformed the room into a decadent space, reminiscent of a swanky London bar. If you want to dress up your wedding venue, these are the people to call!
The décor was also complemented by the giant signs from Scene Setters – we chose the LOVE letters for our party but you can see their full range on their website. Speakeasy Bars got the cocktails flowing with their amazing Mojitos and passionfruit Moscow Mules, and after a boogie to Live Events disco it was off to the GroovyBooth for fun photos that guests could take away at the end of the night.
But before they headed home, they were treated to tasty ice creams from the Café Bon Bon tricycle – the perfect idea for a summer celebration. Our guests loved their ice cream treats, and yours will, too! And last but not least, every great party needs a great photographer to capture all the action – and we had two! A big kiss to photographers extraordinaire David and Mike from Apollo Photo for snapping the night so brilliantly.
