Here, we bring you the wedding cakes that won the competition for both bakers Nadiya back in 2015, and Frances in 2013. Each boasting beautiful and different designs, you’re bound to find a breath-taking cake idea from one of the Great British Bake Off‘s bakers.

Frances embraced all things rustic when she created her colourful Midsummer Night’s Dream wedding cake.

Featuring three tiers of ginger, lemon drizzle, and carrot and pineapple cake, this wedding cake showstopper is decorated with Frances’ homemade edible confetti, fresh fruit and – in a nod to the artistic bakes she is known and loved for – little marzipan bees!

Nadiya’s Great British Bake Off wedding cake will have you swooning! Nadiya baked this three-part cake using lemon drizzle cake because it’s her husband’s favourite flavour and decorated it with beautiful jewels, beading and blooms inspired by a sari.

As per Bangladeshi tradition, where the couple tied the knot, they didn’t have a wedding cake, so not only was this a GBBO-winning bake, it was also a sentimental cake for Nadiya and her husband to celebrate their years of marriage with.

2013 finalists Ruby and Kimberley also baked up big day cakes, with Ruby’s representing a romantic buttercream sunset and Kimberley’s a more traditional offering of quilted fondant, pearls and romantic script prints.
