Set in a woodland grove in the grounds of the historic Castle, Mediaeval Glamping is an exclusive fully set-up, ready-to-sleep experience, including evening entertainment and breakfast along with two day priority entrance to Warwick Castle.

Guests will experience a night under the stars like no other in one of the 38 comfortable Warwick Tents – designed exclusively for the Castle – from £200 per night for a group of up to five. There are three luxury Kings’ Tents – complete with thrones, of course – which can accommodate up to four adults from £300 per night.

All 41 tents have enough space for your queenly hen party to walk about and stand up inside, and feature electric lighting and waterproof wooden flooring, as well as glam scatter cushions, throws, ample storage and a mirror. They all come with wooden-framed beds and bed linen, in-tent power and free Wi-Fi.

Each King’s Tent features a four-poster bed and two wooden-framed single beds, two thrones, an oak storage chest, a large table with chessboard and pieces of armour. Towels are provided for any of the King’s Tent guests.

Mediaeval-themed interactive evening entertainment is included in the price – try your hand at Have-A-Go Archery, which is new for 2015, or head to the Knights’ School which teaches sword-skills, or Jesters’ School where guests can learn to juggle.

Heated toilet and hot shower facilities are located within the Glamping Village. Breakfast is included and served in the Grand Mediaval Banqueting Tent, as is a daily Mediaval Dinner Feast for an additional charge of £16.95 per adult. You can even add on a sumptuous 3-course afternoon tea in the state dining room, which has hosted the past seven monarchs. Well, if it’s good enough for them!

Geoff Spooner, General Manager at Warwick Castle, said: “Spending the night in the Castle grounds is a very special experience and our luxury Medieaval style tents make for a very comfortable stay for couples, families and groups of friends. Our Glamping Village is great value for money as an overnight stay includes breakfast, admission on two consecutive days, parking and a host of fun activities in an unrivalled historic setting.

The Glamping Village is only five minutes’ walk from the Castle and is located in a peaceful woodland glade, close to the River Avon, within walking distance of Warwick town centre with its restaurants, traditional pubs and diverse shops. Mediaeval Glampers can check in from 4pm – cars can be left in a secure car park before that time – and enjoy exploring the Castle before heading back to their own private tents. Staff are on hand 24 hours a day to answer any questions and the site is secure 24 hours a day.
