Thousands of votes have been cast by the real brides of Britain and the time has come to reveal the finalists for the Wedding Ideas Awards 2014…

Wedding-Ideas-Awards-2014-Logo-smallThat’s it – stage one of the voting is over! The real brides of Britain have spoken and have cast their votes in the UK’s largest consumer wedding awards, shouting about the companies that have given them excellent products and customer service over the last 12 months.

The voting now moves into its second stage, with the top five companies in each category putting forward their submissions to the panel of judges, made up of experts from the wedding industry. The judges will then decide on the final winners.

The Awards ceremony itself takes place on 10th January at The Tower Hotel in London in front of 400 wedding professionals. You can catch all of the action as it happens on the night by following the team on Twitter – follow the hashtag #wimagawards.

    • Hi @PhoebeWedding, as you can imagine, we cannot have a category for every single element of a wedding – we would be there all night! We have included a florist category in previous years, but the nominations were so regionalised there was never really a clear winner. We are trying to incorporate florists into the Special Touches category this year, but we do review our list every year.
