This stunning engagement shoot feature’s the lovely Caray and Brian who tied the knot in Suffolk this year. Shot in the glorious Ashridge estate, Hertfordshire it’s simply beautiful…
How did you feel when you first met your husband?
“Nervous, as I was about attend a job interview in which he was on the interview panel” laughs Caray. “Our first date was in Roslin, near Edinburgh in a lovely country pub called the Rosslyn Inn, that was back in August 2006,” she adds.
How did Brian propose?
“We were walking on the beach in Padstow in Cornwall and he got down on one knee and got rather wet as the tide was coming back in…,” says Caray.
Why did you decide to have an engagement shoot?
“We were advised by our photographer that it would be good for us to get to know him and vice versa, and I have to say he was right – having the pre-wedding engagement shoot made the running of our wedding day so much better and, we had fun! Plus, we have some lovely photos to add to our wedding photos, which is a bonus! We would definitely recommend it,” explains Caray.
“One thing I would advise to other couple’s having an engagement shoot would be to take a few changes of clothes or accessories to keep the looks fresh and different – plus you’ll be prepared then if it’s chilly!”
