UK designer Caroline Arthur was approached by ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ groom Mike to help design his bride’s dream dress.
Mike wanted a silver, sparkly, strapless style, with a full A-line skirt and train, lacing corset fastening, butterflies and wildflower embroidery – not too much then! However the dress Mike wanted was out of his price range so Caroline showed him her ‘design-your-own-gown’ collection at Caroline Arthur and using Mike’s ideas and Caroline’s collection, Becky’s gorgeous gown was created.
Caroline’s collection gives brides the chance to design their own wedding gown, without the designer price tag. It includes nine different bodice styles and five different skirt styles and each gown can be made as separates or a dress. The dress can have a zip, button or lacing fastening and it can then be customised by adding straps or accessories.
