“I wanted to create a theme full of English Country Garden wedding ideas for this photo shoot as it’s a styles which never fades. It’s just perfect in a lovely rustic barn, like the Merriscourt Galleries in the Cotswolds where the photo shoot took place.”

The beautiful pink floral bouquets are lovingly created with seasonal English flowers which are typical of a country garden. With a variety of roses, sweet peas and peonies the flowers looked simply stunning. They have a softer feel about them, and the colours tied in perfectly with the dresses as well as the vintage china and cupcakes we used in the table settings.

The dresses were stunning, and were selected to reflect the country garden theme with a floaty feel, but with colours and details that would pair with every item throughout the styling.

Details are at the heart of all country garden wedding ideas and this shoot was no exception. All of the stationery, bunting, jewellery, cake pops and cupcakes were carefully made by hand by each supplier. We aim to inspire couples to source their wedding details locally, and show that you can create a beautiful style using English resources. Picking out elements of detail or colour from one area can be highlighted and emphasised in another, creating a gorgeous match and blend throughout.
