Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh wed her rapper fiancé Professor Green aka Stephen Manderson at Somerset’s beautiful Babington House on Tuesday afternoon.
Heiress to the Quality Street fortune, Millie wore a vintage, high-neck lace wedding gown from Alice Temperley with a pretty peplum frill, high Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes, a fashionable mid-length veil and fresh flowers in her hair – a top bridal trend going into 2014.
Millie accessorized her cool country garden bridal look with simple earrings, a bracelet and a handtied bouquet of pastel pink and cream blooms. Professor Green and his groomsmen looked super cool in their on-trend navy wedding suits, simple ties and buttonholes to match the bride’s bouquet.
Millie chose stunning floor-length flowing pink dresses for her bridesmaids but steered clear of asking her Made in Chelsea co-stars to accompany her down the aisle. Good thinking, as fellow star Caggie Dunlop shunned wedding tradition by turning up in a white lace dress!
The entrance to the chapel at Babington was decorated with a stunning archway of flowers, while the path leading up to it was adorned with large hurricane lanterns. The Somerset venue has been the setting for many celeb weddings over the years including Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball and James Corden and Julia Carey.
