Located in 45 acres of gardens and parkland, family-run Hampton Manor offers a modern twist to the country house experience with a focus on relaxed charm. The pretty village of Hampton-In-Arden sure does set the scene for this beautiful building that dates back to 1066.
Hampton Manor is full of history. The Neo-Tudor gothic style is evident throughout the building and the clock tower looks out over the beautiful gardens. Its most famous resident was Sir Frederick Peel, son of 19th century Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel, who established the police force. Today, the hotel is home to 15 bedrooms, Peel’s Restaurant, Fred’s Bar and The Tasting Room chef’s table experience.
Hampton’s Manor’s ceremony venue, the Birches, offers seating for up to 120 wedding guests. The beautiful barn style building, set amongst the silver birches of the hotel’s 45 acre estate, creates a natural and elegant space to tie the knot.
Arrive at the Birches and pass through the lobby entrance – designed as a secret garden – before arriving in the main hall. Picture chandeliers with a twist, timber floors and silver birch wallpaper – it’s a truly gorgeous place to hold your dream ceremony.
Hampton Manor can also accommodate outdoor ceremonies on request and has a woodland path to the village church which welcomes couples from the outside the community to marry there.
It’s the ideal base for a bit of pre or post-wedding exploring too, with excellent connections by train nationwide, as well as its prime location in the heart of England. Guests can spend a day enjoying Birmingham’s world-class art venues and St Phillips Cathedral, Symphony Hall, Waterhall Gallery, Bull Ring Markets before walking through the picturesque village that leads to Hampton Manor.
