Award-winning bridal accessory company Chez Bec have just released their beautiful new collection for 2014 and we can’t wait to show it to you…
The whole team were struck by Downton fever last year, and some of the vintage influence has made it into the new collection for 2014. “With the Lady Mary tiara as our starting point, our design team began sketching and working out what we wanted to bring to brides in 2014,” says Rebecca, the design genius behind the brand.
“There was a lot of time spent looking at the Cartier archives (which gave us all kind of diamond envy!), a quick trip or two to the V&A, some serious bead shopping, and it all led us to a collection we couldn’t be prouder of.”
No Chez Bec collection would be complete without their signature pearls and if you like these traditional bridal accessories, you’ll love the new range. “Throughout the summer we spent far too much time on Pinterest, and developed a massive crush on all things floral, in particular baby’s breath and the beautiful unstructured simplicity that it has, especially when en masse: the impact is breath-taking,” adds Rebecca.
“And it was meadows and a proper English summer (at last!) that inspired our Flora range. Simple sprays of top quality pearls, clusters of shimmering crystals, and just a pinch of hand crafted silk flowers, which can be seen in our Flora headband.”
The unstructured look flows through the collection – choose from hair vines that can be twisted to suit a multitude of hairstyles, and pins that can be worn as a collection or on their own.
Chez Bec have also launched a cuff, necklace and earring set but the beauty of the collections lies in the fact that everything works so well together and that you can mix and match to your heart’s content.
