Best friends for 16 years, parents to two fab boys and now married! Cerri and Richard had an intimate family wedding that was tons of fun! Rich and Cerri's Wedding (375 of 668).fw

This stunning couple met at Motocross in 1999 – Cerri’s brother and Richard both raced with the same club. They had their first date in Weston Super Mare at a beach race and went clubbing afterwards. Richard proposed on Christmas Day in 2013 – Cerri unwrapped an oil filter box to find a smaller box inside. Rich spoke the romantic words, “So, we gonna get married then?” The marriage is based on a 16-year friendship – a solid partnership in which they are bringing their boys up and making some amazing family memories. Cerri and Richard chose to get married in their parish church, where their sons have been christened. For the relaxed and chilled out party that they so wanted, they chose to hold the barbecue reception at the groom’s family home, in a marquee that they decorated with metres and metres of homemade bunting, fairy lights and flowers mostly grown by the groom’s mother Gill.

Beautiful bride Cerri chose her Suzanne Neville ‘Spellbound’ dress from Dragonfly in Cheltenham, which she describes a wonderful shop owned by the lovely Suzi, who made her feel beautiful! With fresh flowers picked from the garden for hair accessories, Cerri wore shoes by Nine West and drop hoop earrings by My Hart Beading. Bridesmaid – Cerri’s best friend Jenny – wore a green and lace dress by Sorella Vita. The two flowergirls wore dresses made by the bride’s talented mother. Rich and Cerri's Wedding (375 of 668).fw

The tables in the marquee were decorated using hessian and lace table runners with a mix and match of vases and jars holding freshly picked flowers. Guests enjoyed homemade damson gin as their favours and the speeches were a particular highlight, with Cerri saying that the photos from the speeches show everyone looking “so happy.” The first dance was Son of a Preacher Man sung by best friend Jen, and a celidh had everyone dancing til 3am!
