Wedding Ideas got a sneak peek at what’s coming up at this year’s National Wedding Show at the seasonal press preview at The Lansdowne Club this week. Exhibitors showcased their best dresses, accessories, groomswear, stationery, cakes and more. Trust us, you will not be disappointed…
Revealing the latest trends in bridalwear, Finiks London, Emma Louise Bridal and Iselin Designs presented their latest collections of gorgeous bridal gowns, while Gullarn showcased their sensational occasionwear, perfect for your guests and mother-of-the-bride to be modelling on your big day!
And for the perfect finishing touches to any wedding day outfit, we’d definitely recommend the glamorous accessories by Donna Crain, By Harriet or HF Couture, together with fancy footwear from Adrienne Shoes.
Aurus presented their sparkling collection of wedding rings, while London Tailor, Jon Kruger, gave us a sneak preview into the latest trends in groomswear by displaying some of his key pieces for the season.
The florists and stationers worked together to demonstrate some of the season’s most popular wedding themes, ideal for those who need some reception inspiration!
One of our favourites was the breathtaking Masquerade-inspired table, with a striking blue peacock nestled in a spectacular array of beautiful blooms! We couldn’t get enough of the attention to detail, with the look complete by colourful tablewear, a shimmering gold table cloth, and coordinating stationery from Ivy Ellen.
Florists PinkyMiki created an absolutely stunning centrepiece of white flowers accompanied by chic black and white stationery from With Love Wedding Stationery, a perfect look for those of you planning an elegant, traditional white wedding.
We were even lucky enough to have a few tasters from The Whitty Cake Company and Le Papillon Patisserie as they both showed off their delicious collection of luxury wedding cakes for the new year, including the iconic Macaroon Tower and Croquembouche.
With the success and excitement of this season’s event, The National Wedding Show Autumn 2014 is set to be the best yet! The National Wedding show will take place at London’s Earls Court from 26-28th September, Birmingham NEC from 3-5th October, and Manchester Central from 11-12th October.
