Alexandra and Nick first met when they were on a night out in Swansea and they soon became inseparable! The proposal came one wet and windy walk along the cliffs from Langland to Caswell Bay – as they stopped to admire the views Nick popped the question! “As soon as I said yes he picked me up and swung me around,” Alexandra says. “Then the heavens opened and completely drenched us!”
This beautiful bride found her gorgeous Cristiano Lucci gown in Timeless Elegance in Cardiff, made from pretty lace with a vintage feel it was definitely ‘the one’ for Alexandra. Her four bridesmaids including Laura her maid of honour, all wore salmon pink Warehouse dresses bought online from ASOS, and their shoes were from the fabulous Rainbow Club. Nick opted for a three-piece grey suit from Hugo Boss, as did her dad who also went with them. Alexandra says that Nick never looked so handsome!
This couple didn’t have a set theme, they took the rustic homemade approach with fresh Spring touches. Alexandra’s mum did more or less everything because she’s so creative. They added colour to the white marquee with handmade bunting and made ceramic shells and hearts that were dotted on the tables. Her mum even made the gorgeous five-tier traditional fruit cake and favours! Their first dance was to Ed Sheeran’s Tenerife Sea because the words are so beautiful!
