Childhood sweethearts, Hannah and Chris, opted for a Tiffany blue wedding theme with some charming Disney touches!
Two lovebirds Hannah and Chris met when they were quite young, as they got older they realised they were meant to be together. Chris proposed while they were in a hot air balloon at sunrise in Disney world Florida. The two weeks that followed were blissful – “just perfect!” says Hannah.
It made perfect sense after that proposal to have an elegant Disney theme for the reception at The Royal Hall, Villa Marina on the Isle of Man. The speeches were littered with Disney references, and Chris’ speech ended by him presenting Hannah with a
gift that “would mean we can move forward together as one.” It was an Everton shirt with ‘Mrs Quinn’ printed on the back – perfect for Liverpool fan Hannah! During best man Mark’s speech he asked Chris to be his best man in return – great timing, and just part of some brilliant speeches that really set the tone for the rest of the day.
Hannah found her beautiful Sophia Tolli dress in Bridal by Swarbricks in Manchester. When she tried it on she felt like a Disney Princess (of course!). The Royal Hall was decorated Disney-style with touches of Tiffany blue lending an elegant touch. Strings of twinkling fairy lights were hung from the ceiling, while the table centres were crystal chandeliers and silver candelabra. Chairs were decorated with blue sashes and the top table had a bell jar with a red rose inside, like the one from Beauty and the Beast.
Hannah and Chris chose High by the Lighthouse Family as their first dance because it has always been ‘their song’. The band Retrospect played sing-style numbers and DJ Chris Headley from Matt Fletcher Entertainment kept the dance floor full. Guests received Tiffany blue cupcakes as favours and a photo booth from Photo Booth Hire kept them entertained throughout the evening. Hannah’s favourite moment was when all 180 guests joined them on the dance floor…
