The proposal
Paris – famed for being the most romantic city in the world – certainly rang true for Simon as he popped the question to his dream girl, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. “I was completely and utterly surprised,” remembers Amanda. “A waiter showed us to our private suite, with stunning views overlooking the city, then after our meal, Simon proposed,” she sighs
The bride’s real wedding abroad outfit
What. A. Dress… We are officially in love! Amanda looked a real wedding vision in her stunning Oscar De La Renta cream gown that she bought from Browns in London. The dress was accessorised with an intricately-beaded Swarovski-crystal belt and a pair of perfectly matching sparkling earrings
The accessories
Amanda’s other bridal accessories included a gorgeous pair of cream-satin Christian Louboutin peep toes and a diamond tennis bracelet – a gift from Simon
The groom’s outfit
Simon was seriously working the luxe look in his classic two-piece suit from Richard James on Saville Row. “He looked so handsome, probably the smartest I’ve ever seen him,” smiles Amanda
The bridesmaids
Amanda’s four-fashionista bridesmaids all looked lovely. The older girls wore deep-purple sheer-silk gowns from Couture Bride and Groom. Ellie, the flowergirl, wore a unique cream dress with a delicate bow tied at the back. The colours were chosen to match their bouquets
The ceremony
Was an elegant affair with a strict colour scheme of white. Music was provided by a violinist and harpist who performed a moving rendition of Ave Maria, while the couple were lighting a unity candle – a gorgeous moment at their real wedding abroad
The flowers
The real wedding flowers were expertly arranged by local florist Armando Malafronte. The ceremony blooms were all white, while the reception included a delicate mix of pinks and purple blossoms, too
The decor
“Hotel Caruso were fantastic and supplied all the decorations for the wedding breakfast – including chandeliers, glitter balls, disco lights and even an amazing firework display!” recalls Amanda
The honeymoon
“We returned to London for a week, but then left for Sandy Lane in Barbados. The resort was breathtaking, certainly a must visit,” says Amanda.
