Camille was a true princess bride, and she fell in love with her groom, Tom, straight away!
Camille admits to feeling excited and nervous when she met Tom back in 2007. “It was love at first sight!” she says. Their first date was her mum’s house, when Tom arrived with Sister Act 2 to watch, and a big bag of popcorn.
The couple chose Blake Hall for the celebrations in August 2014, which had a silver and white theme with a vintage touch. Camille’s best memory of the day was walking down the aisle with her dad, who was trying to keep her smiling and laughing as emotion took hold. She recalls looking around and seeing all of her amazing friends and family who had come especially to celebrate their special day, and it was all quite overwhelming. The speeches were another highlight, again filled with emotion. The wedding breakfast that followed included delicious canapés, chicken wrapped in pancetta and Eton mess or profiteroles for dessert.
Camille’s beautiful Maggie Sottero ‘Esme’ dress was bought at Matchmakers in Brentwood and made her feel like a princess when she put it on. She wore it with a crystal-embellished veil and wore a Cartier watch Tom had given her as a wedding present. Tom wore a black tail suit from Tux n Tails in St Albans. The three bridesmaids wore Dessy dresses also from Matchmakers in Brentwood and the four flowergirls wore white dresses with matching platinum bands.
