Lovebirds, Emily and Paddy, decided on a vintage, 1920s theme for their wedding day and it was gorgeous!
Emily met Paddy and instantly felt, “happy!” They were at the top of Mount Etna at sunset when this romantic groom got down on one knee and proposed to his elegant bride. Emily found her dream dress at Lara B in Suffolk, it was a Paloma Blanca design and featured a silk dupion and corded lace sweetheart bodice with diamanté details.
A 1920s side tiara from Glitzy Secrets was Emily’s something new, her nan’s 1920-style watch as her something borrowed and her grandma’s ring as something old and blue! Shoes by Perfect Vintage were ivory satin peep toe and completed her beautiful look.
Emily was attended by three bridesmaids and maid of honour Sarah – they all wore sage chiffon dresses with a satin belt from Coast and light grey peep toe heels. Paddy opted for a silk grey suit with light grey patterened waistcoat hired from Debenhams – and brightly coloured socks!
1920s Gatsby was the theme for this couple and they even purchased a gramophone to help bring the theme to life! They personalised table names with places they had travelled, including a description and picture of them, too. To create a lighter atmosphere they entwined fairy lights on to the table centres and used tealights around the barn with uplighters. Emily and Paddy took inspiration from Pinterest for their cake, opting for a four tiered Victoria sponge by Sharon Castro.
