We love the vintage theme when it comes to weddings, because it covers so much! It encapsulates so much too – from the luxury 1920s and Art Deco to the second-hand shop trawl for ornate teacups and birdcages.

Your wedding stationery gives you the opportunity to emulate this gorgeous theme, and gives your guests a chance to have a little sneak peak of what’s in store for the big day itself before it has even come!

Tickled Pink have a stunning collection of stationery ranges that are absolutely perfect for a vintage wedding or theme, take a look! Over to you, Nikki…

Love Lace

One of the newest additions to our portfolio is the Love Lace range. Drawing our own lace was great fun, and teaming it with the popular choices of soft pastels, hessian or muted wood for that rustic touch makes it great for a vintage theme in both a classic venue, or a barn venue.

Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby film reminded everyone just how stylish the 1920s were – gorgeous dresses and all those straight, geometric designs. Our second Art Deco range was based on vintage patterns, including lots of lines and that fun sunburst design.

Tea for Two

There are so many delightful patterns and designs on vintage crockery that it was so easy to draw for ages looking at old teacups. Our Tea for Two range is meant to be fun, stacked cups and lots of patterns and colours. We have roses, Oriental blossoms and even added some daffodils for a spring theme!

Bunting

One design that we have made in so many different colourways is Bunting. In our studio we have a LOT of fabrics collected over the years – some of them are very vintage! Using these fabrics, we play with colours and mix patterns usually to match a bouquet. It can be subtle, and can be colourful!

Circus

Fonts are a great design tool and we love, LOVE a bit of cool typography. Our Circus range of stationery always makes me want to be their wedding guest! For a vintage, outdoor, funfair feel, what’s not to like about a hook-a-duck game, helter skelter or a giant lollipop!? Mixed with some old-fashioned retro fonts, it’s a great invite to receive and even more fun to create.

Victorian Vintage

Another vintage theme that has been very popular when we’ve chatted to couples at wedding fairs this year has been an old, weather document style, with historical fonts. Mixed with patterns from Victorian posters and old book spines in dusty colours, it’s a stylish invitation for a wedding, with a more Victorian Vintage feel.

Damask

Our popular perennial for classic, historic venues is our Damask range. Simple colours with history mixed in! It can be in brights to match your theme and can look more Moroccan, or be in muted colours for the stylish venue. Lots of pattern means this is a different take on vintage.

Birdcage

For another vintage feel, one word: birdcages. They are great decorations for your venue, and fab spaces to fill and decorate to fit your theme. Our Birdcage range is an elegant choice, with colour blossoms and leaves as a backdrop. Because we love a good tip-on, we drew a birdcage to fit into a lovely punch-cutter, so we can attach it to our invites with a little bow, just like a gift tag!
