Walking down the aisle

For the bride, this is it – the moment you’ve been waiting for. Showing your dress off to everyone while your groom waits at the end of the aisle for you. Cherish the moment, it will be perfect. From the groom’s point of view, it’s the first time you’ve seen the bride-to-be in her wedding dress; it all becomes real. Both your eyes lock as the bride walks down the aisle – there may be tears, there may be smiles, but you can both relax as you become man and wife.

Vows

As nervous as you might be when you’re saying your vows, when you hear this back on film it will remind you how much you love each other, and how much meaning went into saying these vows to each other on your special day. Mulhern Media capture your vows perfectly through the use of a small radio mic on the groom’s suit jacket, so there will be no interference with audio.

First kiss

‘You may now kiss the bride’… Your first kiss as husband and wife is an essential moment to capture on film. Encourage your friends and family to clap and cheer as you do it too – it all adds to the excitement of the moment, and you’ll love reliving the moment over and over again.

Location shoot

At some point in the day, you will get a little bit of time to spend on your own as husband and wife. You may have a special location you would like to visit or you may want to use the beautiful grounds at the wedding venue. This is where we would work alongside the photographer to capture some beautiful, cinematic and natural shots of you both together which really adds another dimension to your wedding film.

The speech

The first speech as a married couple! This is a great time for the groom to really tell the world, or at least the wedding party, how much he loves his new bride and what she means to him. This moment is very touching and can bring laughter and tears amongst other emotions. A little story of how you and your wife met always goes down well, especially mixed with some emotion and humour. It is also becoming popular for the bride to make a speech which is a nice change in tradition.

First dance

This is your time to show up to the camera! Many couples now have lessons for their first dance so this is your chance to show your guests those moves! Make sure you encourage your guests to join you on the dancefloor to really get the night going.
