Bridal and groom prep
You’ll never feel as nervous or as excited as you do on your wedding day. Ask your videographer to capture your transformation into a blushing bride, from the make-up through to the finished look before you walk down the aisle. And while you’re putting on your dress and having photos taken, your videographer can spend a bit of time with the (super anxious!) groom as he awaits his bride at the altar.
The details
Whether you’re a DIY bride or not, the little details you’ve spent a lot of time and thought preparing are what make your day unique. From the table decorations and table plan to the shoes and accessories, try to get the little touches included in your video.
Walking down the aisle
As you walk down the aisle, all eyes are on you and it can be very overwhelming. Most brides say the whole ceremony is a bit of a blur! Ask your videographer to capture you as you walk proudly towards your groom, with a few shots of his face, too, watching you with adoration. It will be a memory to treasure forever.

Whether it’s your dad reminiscing about your childhood, your groom referring to you as his wife for the first time, or the embarrassing best man memories of your hubby growing up, you’ll enjoy watching every second of your wedding speeches again and again.

The last essential shot on the list is the first dance. It may feel like a cringe-worthy part of your day at the time, but looking back, it is a really romantic moment to treasure. It’s also lovely to see – and hear – your friends and family surrounding you while you dance – welling up and singing along!
