Here are six super Christmas wedding ideas you just have to steal for next year, courtesy of real-life couple Natalie and David…
Wrap up!
We love these elegant faux fur wraps that Natalie chose for her bridesmaids. Not only do they keep the cold winter chill at bay they complement the gorgeous silver bridesmaid dresses from Dessy perfectly! “I searched for ages for silver dresses but most of them looked grey, so I was really pleased to find what I wanted in the end,” says Natalie.
Festive decs
When it comes to choosing your decorations for a Christmas wedding, you’ve really got it made! Reindeers, stars, snowflakes – you’re sure to pick up some budget friendly finds in the high street shops. They make the perfect finishing touches to a winter wonderland reception.
Cosy toes
We’ve all heard of buying your guests flip flops or flats for dancing later on in the evening, but what about slippers?! Natalie and David made sure their guests’ toes were both warm and stylish with these super slippers.
Nature’s gifts
“We collected over 100 pine cones in the months leading up to the wedding, which we sprayed with silver glitter and used as place names,” explains Natalie. Make use of the nature around you at this time of year – fallen leaves, berries and pine cones can all come in useful as budget-friendly details.
Magical metallics
If you’re going for a winter wonderland theme you really need to work metallic details into your day. The venue was dresses with silver twigs, fairy lights, silver ribbon and more to give the whole venue a wintry, glamorous feel.
Top tables
We loved the attention to detail on Natalie’s tables. The silver charger plates, the gorgeous chairs, the gypsophila and candle centrepieces… It’s all just fabulous! And remember, you can easily double the effect by placing your arrangement on a mirror just as the couple have done here.
