The announcement
How did you announce your engagement? Many of us now take to social media to tell the world about getting engaged. If you are newly engaged and are still to tell your friends and family, why not do it with confetti?
There is so much you can do – you could take a chalkboard and write ‘I said yes!’ on it, and shape the confetti into a heart around it, or you could get some letter and spell it out, scattering confetti around for a colourful effect. Why not do this with your save the date as well!
Mr and Mrs decoration
Who doesn’t love a Mr and Mrs decoration at their wedding. This is a popular choice as a table decoration for the top table. Make yours look extra special by scattering pretty petals around to make a real feature on the table.
Spell it out
If you have areas in your venue that you want to fill, why not place a table covered with a crisp white table cloth and use confetti to spell out messages.
You could leave a disposable camera on the table with containers of confetti and ask your guests to make messages for you from the petals and take a photograph – a great idea for an alternative guest book!
Petal path
A petal path is pretty and romantic. They make perfect aisles if your wedding is outside, or a great path directing guests from different places at your venue.
Easy to do, simply scatter petals in the shape of path you want and place some small jars of flowers either side to outline your petal path.
Romantic night in
Treat your other half to a romantic night in using natural petals to set the mood. Whether you’re celebrating or just because, you could cook their favourite meal and scatter petals on the table with some candles.
Or fill a bath to their preferred temperature and decorate with petals using tea lights for lighting or shape a heart on the bed using petals for a truly romantic evening.
